THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

How can it be a raindrop
Can forgive the scorching sun
From deep within it surely knows
God's Plan since Time begun

A gentle little raindrop
Tho' so pleasant to the eye
Cannot fulfill its purpose
Til the sun bears, and it dies

We Christians, like the raindrop
Understand God's Mighty Plan
Time is just a fragment
Like a capsule holding man

A Time to live and Time to die
God oversees it all
A Time to love and Time to hate
God's Word, we must recall

Old Evil wars against God's own
He lies and kills and steals
But every blow and bloodshed
In the end, God's Power reveals

Tho' grieving hearts bring many tears
A true heart understands
And gentle people will forgive
The evil deeds of man

Forgiveness given on the earth
Transcends to Throne So High
A double facet, with much Power
Reflects on you and I

We Christians must unite now
In our hearts and souls and minds
Put prejudice and judgement down
Leave titles far behind

Denominations separate
Diversions grieve the Dove
We should be known as Christians
And they'll know us by our Love

Each soul, sent down from Heaven
Has a purpose to fulfill
Unique in Plan to end all bad
Not just the run of mill

True Christians are a gentle soul
Endowed with Mighty Power
A child of Omnipotent Love
With Jesus, our Strong Tower

God sent us to the earth to Love
Love covers sins with bliss
And we must learn upon this earth
