A HANDMAID SUCH AS I
.
Sometimes late at night Lord
When all slumber safe and sound
I come to you so quietly
And at your Love astound
My human mind can't fatham
God OMNIPOTENT - So High
Could even rest His eyes upon
A handmaid such as I
I know I am not worthy
Of this Love so pure - so clean
But through the Blood you see me
As no other eyes have seen
I wish to be, Lord, more like you
As your hands on me do mold
Forming and perfecting
As you fit me in your fold
Purge all hardness from my heart
Replacing it with Love
Guide my footsteps carefully
Protect by Power above
Rid me of resentments
And hurts that break the heart
Place me on a brand new path
Give me a brand new start
Help me to be forgiving
Help me to be more kind
To understand life's weaknesses
Let my heart speak to mind
For in my heart your Love does dwell
And sets my Spirit free
If heart can relate this to mind
A new me all will see
Continue using me, dear Lord
To touch a child in need
For blessings sprinkle me like rain
When your voice I do heed
So now I bow before you
And I magnify your name
God and Saviour - Holy Ghost

MY REDEEMER
When Holy Spirit came with power
To guide and dwell within
He started cleaning up this place
He started tossing sin
And tho I know I've much to learn
There's no doubt salvation's mine
For I can "feel" the dusting rag
As He polishes and shines
When I sometimes feel alone
And I truly don't "fit in"
Let me smile and hide in Jesus
Let me not join in sin
Cover me with Holy Blood
That washes white as snow
For tho I live life in the flesh
I have always loved you so
So keep the tears wiped from my eyes
And hold my hand so tight
That when I slip, you lift me up
And point me toward the Light
I lift my voice and praise you
You are higher than all high
My God and Holy Spirit
