THIS SPACE IN TIME
Your Comfortor Has Come!
Lord, I do not understandThis space in time, called LifeCan't comprehend this broken heartSo weary, Lord, with strife
I look around me, all aboutAnd search beyond the smilesSome souls have found contentmentSome souls face constant trials
My flesh cries, "Do You love them more?Much more than You love me?Do You overlook their faultsYet all my faults do see?
Flesh is sinful, this we knowBut, God, I try my bestI find I'm not like othersFor in solitude, I'm blessed
My Jesus surely intercedesMust surely plead my causeWhen life becomes too hard to bearFrom pain then, we must pause
You dwell in me, therefore You knowThere's nothing I can hideYou've seen my tears and heard my pleasIf in me, You abide
You've commissioned me, dear LordTo Comfort...near and farThis Comfort now flows 'round the earthTo those in Peace and war
It seems the ones that love me mostAre those my Words do touchAnd so I write, and so I speakMy words revealing Much
You spoke that You'd conform meInto Your Image, GodDoes that mean in my flesh, I die?Beneath sin's hateful rod?
So many, many questionsYes, life's a MysterySometimes I feel I can't go onThen, you draw nigh to me
I surely do not understandMy soul cries in disdainBut wait! What's this you're saying?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"IT'S THE PAIN THAT BRINGS THE GAIN!"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Mary Kiker

HEBREWS 4:15,16For we have not an high priest which cannot be touchedwith the feeling of our imfirmities; but was in all pointstempted like as we are; yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldlyunto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
