TOO HIGH FOR MIND TO REASON

Tell me world, oh tell me
Do you try to break my heart?
You knew my tenderness within
From first breath at my start

Do you not know there is a Strength
Within my kneeling soul
And arrows shot into my heart
Will never take a toll?

God's ways are far beyond my own
Too high for mind to reason
But now God opens up my mind
Beyond my earthly season

In time, we're bound to formulas
To theories we relate
Mind bound inside its' limits
But my soul does contemplate

Two and two's not always four
Four and four not eight
And children do not always smile
When swinging on life's gate

Black cannot blend with purest White
Spirit needs not air to breath
And deep and joyful heartfelt love
Can cause a heart to grieve

Soul spirals up, then spirals down
And carefree hearts still worry
Too quickly comes the end of all
And yet we tend to hurry

Life is good and life is bad
We cope, we do not cope
We seek the good and cringe at bad
We pray, we cling to hope

We've been with God but now are here
We're different, yet the same
Revolving door brings in takes out
So far from where we came

But God does love so very much
He sacrificed His Son
One day, with Love, my God shall say
"Return from where you come!"

To everything a season
World's gladness and the pain
The gladness is God's loving touch
But it's pain that brings the gain

BLESS THE LORD, O MY SOUL: AND ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME,
BLESS HIS HOLY NAME.

Luke 12:48
For unto whomsoever much is given,
of him shall be much required...

~

I Corinthians 2:11-14
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?
even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth; but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
