UNSPOKEN PRAISE

Father God, if I perhaps
Don't voice my feelings trueYou know that I am limitedIn flesh, to blend with You
But each and every blessing, LordHeart safely stores awayUnspoken, "Thank You", floods Your throneEach time I kneel and pray.
In spirit I must worship YouLet spirit praise and groanAnd as I speak my simple wordsDeep praises flood Your throne
Repeated phrases - "Hallelujah",And "Praise Your Holy Name"Unspoken gratefulness from heartMere words can never claim
I'm grateful for the cross, my LordE'en tho You suffered soI'm thankful You've prepared my placeWith You, one day to go
I'm thankful for the holy bloodThat covers all my sinWithout the Power of this bloodLord, I could never win
I'm thankful for Your guidanceThat ushers me alongAnd Shepherd, when I trip and fallThank God, your back is strong
You lift me on Your shouldersAnd just carry me a whileUntil my burdened heart does mendAnd once more, soul can smile
I'm thankful when the world's unkindYou're closer than a brotherAnd you can take the place in heartOf husband, friend or mother
You are my true loved FatherSo familiar with my waysAnd when I speak my simple wordsYou hear unspoken praise
One day the trumpet You've preparedShall blast ear splitting soundAnd all shall mutely stand in aweBefore they bow to ground
Breathtaking Light and SplendorA fragrance in the breezeEvery person, great and small,Knelt down on trembling knee
Jesus - close and personal!Descending on a cloudI cannot fathom time so greatI want to cry out loud!
Then we shall all be changed, my LordAnd where words won't sufficeOur praise becomes perfectedAs we enter ParadiseMary Kiker

ROMANS 8:26,27
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for uswith groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saintsaccording to the will of God.
