UNSPOKEN PRAISE

Father God, if I perhaps

Don't voice my feelings true
You know that I am limited
In flesh, to blend with You

But each and every blessing, Lord
Heart safely stores away
Unspoken, "Thank You", floods Your throne
Each time I kneel and pray.

In spirit I must worship You
Let spirit praise and groan
And as I speak my simple words
Deep praises flood Your throne

Repeated phrases - "Hallelujah",
And "Praise Your Holy Name"
Unspoken gratefulness from heart
Mere words can never claim

I'm grateful for the cross, my Lord
E'en tho You suffered so
I'm thankful You've prepared my place
With You, one day to go

I'm thankful for the holy blood
That covers all my sin
Without the Power of this blood
Lord, I could never win

I'm thankful for Your guidance
That ushers me along
And Shepherd, when I trip and fall
Thank God, your back is strong

You lift me on Your shoulders
And just carry me a while
Until my burdened heart does mend
And once more, soul can smile

I'm thankful when the world's unkind
You're closer than a brother
And you can take the place in heart
Of husband, friend or mother

You are my true loved Father
So familiar with my ways
And when I speak my simple words
You hear unspoken praise

One day the trumpet You've prepared
Shall blast ear splitting sound
And all shall mutely stand in awe
Before they bow to ground

Breathtaking Light and Splendor
A fragrance in the breeze
Every person, great and small,
Knelt down on trembling knee

Jesus - close and personal!
Descending on a cloud
I cannot fathom time so great
I want to cry out loud!

Then we shall all be changed, my Lord
And where words won't suffice
Our praise becomes perfected
As we enter Paradise

ROMANS 8:26,27

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
because He maketh intercession for the saints
according to the will of God.
